Welcome to all Career Counselors’ Consortium Members for the 2009-2010 year! The 2009-2010 season promises to be another exciting and informative year, filled with opportunities for learning and networking. We are very sensitive to the current economic climate and are pleased to inform you that the 2009-2010 membership dues have not increased. For the same annual membership rate of $90, you’ll continue to receive the same benefits you have been enjoying this past year (and some new ones!): four free General Meetings, discounts on Professional Development Seminars, access to job postings and career-related professional development opportunities that are distributed via our e-mail list, discounts on programs with partnering organizations, and more. In addition to our four information-packed General Meetings and cutting edge Professional Development Seminars, we have added new offerings that we would like to share:
a. Mentoring Group – a monthly gathering where career development professionals delve more deeply into the counseling work of career counseling. For more information see our Meetings and Events page or contact Amy Mazur. b. LinkedIn Group - Have you joined the CCC’s very own LinkedIn group? Discussions are timely and relevant, and offer many opportunities for information sharing and learning about upcoming events. For more information, contact Jaime Freedman c. Thinking of Starting Your Own Private Practice? – a group of interested CCC Members is meeting to explore the ins and outs of starting a business in the career development field. For more information, contact Kerin Mayher We hope you will consider joining (or rejoining) the Career Counselors’ Consortium this year, either as an individual member, or as part of an institution. Please view our website for more information, and watch for the Calendar of Events that will be forthcoming, introducing our General Meetings and Professional Development Seminars.
We look forward to seeing you in 2009-1010! The Career Counselors’ Consortium Steering Committee |
