A values-driven approach plays a critical role in a variety of career and employment decisions. Identifying and understanding one's values is an important reflection after a first internship or co-op - or deciding on one, a way to facilitate transition after a life change or during a career change, a way to set goals for the future or get past a challenging experience at work or in life, and a way to evaluate job offers.
We have all used values card sorts and checklists in our work with clients. This meeting will be an experiential opportunity to try out two different tools and approaches that you can use one-to-one and with groups - with clients of all ages, and across academic, private practice, and community workforce development settings. Learn new ways to help clients align their decisions with what's most important for greater satisfaction.
