Description and Learning Objectives:

  • Identify the changing demographics of work and implications for workplace adjustment.

  • Learn about workplace issues affecting worker performance and behavior.

  • Understand the principles of behavior interviewing and its role in the hiring process and beyond.

  • Identify strategies to mitigate implicit bias in the workplace and promote adjustment.

  • Learn new ways to use occupational and job seeking information resources.

  • Acquire new skills in counseling workers in career transition.

The Connecticut Counseling Association has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 2007.  Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. The Connecticut Counseling Association is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.  * 5.0 clock hours may be awarded if sessions are attended in their entirety and attendees complete an evaluation.*
