"Is learning about how automation and artificial intelligence (AI) impacts occupations important in your work as a career counselor?”

Seeking Career Counselors to Share Their Experiences

I am conducting a research study involving career counselors who are interested in learning to stay current and serve clients in a time of rapid technological change. The purpose of the study is to understand how career counselors are learning to make meaning of the impact of automation and artificial intelligence (AI) on occupations.

I am seeking participants for a research study involving a questionnaire that will take less than one hour to complete, and, for a smaller number of participants, the addition of an individual interview that will take one hour. All participation will take place online.

Your participation in the research is highly valued, as it will assist in providing a better understanding of how career counselors learn to make meaning of the impact of automation and artificial intelligence (AI) on occupations and how this impacts practice.

Thank you for considering taking part in this research. If you are interested in participating, please contact me at fjb16@tc.columbia.edu.
