  • How do you and your team advise your clients or students to approach the job search if they are considering switching fields/industries?
  • What strategies worked for your students/clients to get the best outcomes?

Join fellow career coaches and counselors as we dive into some of these questions and reflect on the book "Switchers".  Even if you haven't read the book, feel free to join so you can learn from others and share your experience.

Why is this topic relevant? The pandemic has spurred/motivated a lot of people to consider career change due to changing priorities, economic conditions, and other factors. Career changers, or career switchers, could be the new growing (lucrative) segment of job seekers who need guidance. These people face some big challenges: not knowing which companies, roles or industries that best suit their goals and needs, which opportunities will keep them motivated for the short-term and long-term, where to start, and how to brand themselves without focusing too much on the career change.  The topic of this book is all about h
ow we can help them successfully make a good choice
