Join CCC members Jim Ognibene and Laurie Stickels for Stories by You: A Storytelling Extravaganza. A networking event sharing our hearts and minds with each other during summertime.

We all use stories to make sense of our world and to share that understanding with others. Who doesn’t love a good story? In small groups, attendees will be invited to share 3-4 minute stories falling in two categories, ones you’ve already heard and want to share and ones you will create during this event. Bring three things: your inner author, your magic of mystery, and your agent of all things not yet discovered.

Newcomers especially welcome! Nurture your established relationships and make new ones. Join us for the fast moving, highly interactive gathering of kindred spirits.

About Jim Ognibene, M.Ed.: Jim is a Facilitator of Group Learning Experiences, Career and Life Design Coach, Learning Catalyst, Keynote Speaker and Talent Development Consultant. His career as an educator began thirty years ago as a high school business education to today, as a solopreneur consultant with one goal: to help you be your best. As Director of Professional Development of a large state agency for 10 years, his awesome endeavor was to build communication and leadership skills for 1,800 managers and employees. Jim has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Marketing from George Mason University, Virginia and a Master of Education in Instructional Design from the University of Massachusetts, Boston.

His own professional development includes the following events, conferences and training programs: Facilitating Career Development, National Career Development Association, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Qualifying Program; Learning and Leadership Conference, Human Capital Institute; Appreciative Inquiry: Social Constructionism Conference, TAOS Institute; Project Management: Skills for Success, Learning Tree; Organizational Design and Analysis, Linkage; Exploring Leadership Conference, Training Officers Consortium; Consultraining: Trainer as Internal Consultant, American Management Association. In his “free time” Jim loves the great outdoors: beach, hiking, kayaking, sunsets and panoramic vistas. He is an avid photographer, and loves all that Carl Jung and Joseph Campbell brought to our collective consciousness.

Jim is a lifelong learner and encourages you to be one as well for all it can bring you. As a talent development consultant, Jim and team guide you and your community into an excellent today and a dynamic, bright future. Technology has made great strides, but there is still so much more potential in the human mind and spirit for renewed effectiveness and a richer quality of life.
