 Understanding and applying our strengths as counselors in our day-to-day professional interactions allows for more meaningful conversations. In this session we will focus on building self-awareness of the “blind spots” of our strengths and learning to leverage our strengths to be mindful of other people's communication needs. 


Speaker bio:

Anne Lipsitz is an Executive and Career Coach located in Providence, Rhode Island. Anne has an extensive background in marketing, sales, communication, training, and career management. She holds degrees in Journalism, PR, and Communication Studies and has many years of experience creating compelling content, engaging others, facilitating workshops, and supporting professional development as a mentor and coach.

Her background involves corporate experience in the insurance, cable, and financial services industries in a variety of leadership roles in sales, communication, marketing, and employer engagement. She also worked in the higher education industry in consulting/advising roles working with MBA and graduate students as well as alumni. She enjoys building relationships and has a vast network of the many clients, students, and business partners she has supported.

Topics she has expertise in include executive coaching, professional development, personal branding, strategic marketing, and communications, as well as cultivating a toolbox of quantifiable career tools to pivot and change industries.

Anne enjoys helping clients realize their goal of developing and articulating their value proposition and personal brand whether it be for a new career transition, developing and nurturing a professional network, or positioning for a promotion. Her strengths lie in helping clients develop their stories in a polished, professional manner to achieve their career and professional development goals.
