Location: Virtual (a Zoom link will be sent to you a few days before the event, after registration)

Date: Friday, October 13th

Time: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM ET

Join us for a Roundtable discussion, led by CCC Members Ethan Selinger, Co-op Faculty at Northeastern University and Andrea Horton-Mericli, Workforce Development Specialist, on supporting international students and resident immigrants in the current political climate and job market. Ethan and Andrea have a combined 16 years of experience supporting international students and immigrants in their career planning, preparation, job searches, and career transitions.

Discussions will include best practices for providing purposeful and meaningful career advising that best meets the needs of these populations. This will include an overview of common obstacles, barriers, and general challenges that international students and resident immigrants face when preparing for careers in the United States. Ethan and Andrea will share their own experiences, and provide a space for guided conversation.
