Best Practices Roundtable:
Black Women in Coaching: Support, Connection & Career Growth
Co-hosts: Sabrina Woods & Adesuwa Igbineweka
Location: Virtual (a Zoom link will be sent to you a few days before the event, after registration)
Date: Friday, February 9th
Time: 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM EST
As a celebration of Black History month (February) and Women’s History month (March), we created a special event bringing Black women together.
We will feature these three topics in our time together:
What’s happening now?
What’s happening next (goals, aspirations, next steps in career growth)
What’s your area of need?
We’ll do some reflection and a values exercise to get at what you love about current work and what you might want as your future goals.
This session is meant to give you some breathing room to think more deeply about your own work, and connect with other supportive colleagues to help you advance your own career.
This session is geared towards Black Women who work in career, executive and life coaching, and those who may have a coaching component in their work (such as within employer relations, HR and learning & development).
To support individuals from historically marginalized populations, we are offering this session to non-members as free or by donation. All donation proceeds will go towards offering honorariums for future DEI program volunteer guest speakers and annual memberships for DEI mentees.
