Best Practices Roundtable:

Navigating the Intergenerational Workplace

Hosts: Ethan Selinger and Andrea Horton-Mericli

Location: Virtual (a Zoom link will be sent to you a few days before the event, after registration)

Date: Friday, October 18th, 2024

Time: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM EST

Today’s workforce includes five generations: Traditionalists, Baby Boomers, Gen X, Millennials, and Gen Z. How each generation approaches the world of work can differ based on external events and changing societal structures and expectations.

Understanding how each generation approaches the workplace is vital to fostering a healthy work environment, effective relationships and strong outputs and results. As Career Advisors, it is important that we are able to coach our students and clients on working effectively across generations.

Join us for an interactive Roundtable on the intergenerational workplace. In this Roundtable, CCC Board Members Ethan Selinger and Andrea Horton-Mericli will lead a discussion on the current state of work across generations, and how we, as Advisors, can best support our students, clients, and ourselves as we all navigate the current terrain.

Please come ready to discuss your insights and questions. We look forward to seeing you there!

Round tables are designed for interactions among members and will be discussion based. We welcome participants to join in on the conversation to contribute their thoughts and experiences.
