Are you feeling the stress and anxiety of these difficult times?
- Are you looking for new tools to help your students/clients to cope better with stress and uncertainty?
- Have you ever used mindfulness practices to feel calmer, and gain more clarity?
- How about tapping into positive psychology?
During this interactive webinar, we’ll talk about how stress and anxiety impact us as well as our clients. Next, we’ll explore mindfulness and positive psychology, applying tips from these fields to manage our stress. We’ll even throw in a bit of neuroscience, to keep things interesting! Beyond building our resilience to manage stress better, we’ll segue into new mindfulness-based tools and creative techniques to use during your client coaching/advising sessions.
Activities and Topics will include:
- Get a Boost from Your Past – When our self-esteem is dipping, we can use this exercise to gain more confidence and renewed energy.
- Face Your Fear, Free Your Energy – Explore your worst-case scenario and face those fears, as a means to getting unstuck and freeing up that energy that is being wasted on worry.
- Bull’s Eye Exercise – An insightful and comprehensive tool for decision making, whether that be choosing a major, deciding on a career path, or another topic of importance.
- The Chair Exercise – One more tool for decision making, especially useful with deciding on a job offer.
Optional Networking Lunch, 1:00 - 1:30 pm
After our session is over, feel free to grab your lunch and chat informally with fellow colleagues.

Sabrina Woods, Holistic Career Coach, International Trainer / Speaker
I help people to navigate challenging, and sometimes even mystifying, career and life transitions. In addition to coaching, I facilitate workshops and train-the-trainer sessions ranging from the Myers Briggs to Mindfulness to LinkedIn.
My desire is to educate, engage and inspire participants. During a session, you might sense my authenticity, down-to-earth nature, and (hopefully) infectious energy. I have taught sessions in the U.S., U.K. and Middle East for organizations including Princeton, Columbia, MIT, the University of Liverpool and Harvard Medical School, as well as the Midwest Leadership Summit and World Happiness Fest in Miami.
