Our Expert Speakers
Andrea Gerson, Founder Resume Scripter
As a social worker, professional resume writer, and workforce consultant, Andrea has dedicated the past 15 years to helping individuals to expand their career opportunities. She graduated from Columbia University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She then went on to earn her Master's degree in Social Work at NYU while working full-time as a career counselor in the NYC non-profit sector.
Since launching Resume Scripter in 2011, she's created impactful resumes for over 8,000 clients. In addition to her work with Resume Scripter, she serves as a training facilitator with WPTI (Workforce Professionals Training Institute).
Lily Awad Career Coach and Consultant
Dr. Lily C. Awad brings over 15 years of dedicated expertise to the field of career coaching, with a particular focus on empowering underrepresented and international students and professionals. Lily draws inspiration from her personal journey, skillfully navigating the complexities of her own career through a global perspective. Her commitment to aiding individuals in aligning their identity with their professional paths stems from her own experiences, especially as a mom juggling parenthood and career.
In addition to her extensive career coaching background, Lily has 18 years of experience within higher education. She has demonstrated versatility by seamlessly collaborating across departments on multifaceted projects, ranging from operations, marketing, and digital transformation to curriculum design and teaching. She enjoys facilitating workshops, speaking, podcasting, reading, and writing.
Hao He
Hao He provides career guidance and employment strategies to international undergraduate students as well as domestic students who are interested in working abroad. Starting fall 2021, she also oversees students who are interested in Finance Industry. In addition to these, Hao is responsible for developing international employer relationships to expand Babson’s footprint and provide more opportunities for our student body.
Hao comes to Babson with strong experience in M&A in the Tech Sector. She served as Senior Vice President at Wilton Partners/CDI Global M&A, IT ExchangeNet and Martin Wolf Securities. Hao holds an MBA with a specialization in International Finance from Thunderbird, the American Graduate School of International Management in Phoenix, Arizona. She holds a Bachelor of Economics from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in China. Hao is a CFA charter holder and a member of Beta Gama Sigma Honor Society.
Hao’s work experience spans work as a Senior VP of M&A specializing in cross-border M&A transactions in US, China, India and Europe with clients such as Bain Capital, Staples, Inc. (Nasdaq:SPLS), Rolta India Ltd (BSE: 500366), Softchoice (TSX:SO), Insight Enterprise (NADSQ:NSIT).. She has worked for Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) . Hao enjoys mentoring and growing new employees. She lives in Needham with her husband and three kids.
