Work Interventions Network (WIN):
An International Collaboration of Practitioners and Researchers on Unemployment and Underemployment
This particular series is not intended to duplicate the services currently offered in traditional job search groups; rather, it is a pilot for a project that extends beyond those services, offering a group experience that focuses on the social/emotional aspects of being in a job search. Topics to be discussed include Deepening and Sustaining Relationships, Fostering Social Awareness and Reducing Self-Blame, Building Emotional Resilience and Self-Care, and Planning, Exploring and Engaging in the Job Search. Job searching during a pandemic will also be a focus of this group.
There will also be a research component, and participants will be asked to confidentially evaluate their experience once the group has ended.
Free training on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm EST. At the training, there will be an introduction/overview which will include:
